Storyline Synopsis

The Conversation is intended to be a stimulus for discussion and debate on everyday topics in a relaxed, easy to read format.
I hope individuals will find it an interesting source of ideas to mull over and perhaps discuss with others to generate new ideas and perspectives - or just have a fun conversation.
A wide range of issues are covered, (excluding politics and religion) many impinging on everyday life, some just for fun while others raise questions about the future of mankind and the planet on which we live.
Here are a few of the sixty topics covered: Are we alone in the universe, what is artificial intelligence, what are dreams, reproduction and longevity, ghosts, cloning, euthanasia, human rights, crime and punishment, stem cell research, world population growth and so on.
The format is presented as a conversation between a man and a woman during a holiday break, making for an easy to read introduction to each topic.
The book is structured in sections, each of which cover a specific topic or a closely coupled set of ideas. Each section can be be read independently of the others.
